EcoFest is a festival that celebrates Sustainable Living practices & Environmental Awareness. This FREE event is for all ages to learn ways to be better stewards of the Earth.
EcoFest will feature live entertainment by Long Beach Unplugged, a free shade tree giveaway, a workshop & demonstration on rain-water harvesting with rain barrels, face painting, bug and animal discoveries, crafts, games,
wildflower seed balls, chalk drawing. Bring a picnic, there are beautiful views of the harbor and Catalina Island.
EcoFest is a similarly themed event to Earth Day, however, aimed for the fall season - promoting conservation of our resources, tree planting, garden preparation and rain water harvesting, having fun as we discover of all the creatures that live in our city “Urban Forest” community.
