Linda Grimes is the Managing Director of the San Pedro Arts&Cultural District, an honored designation conferred by the California Arts Council in June of 2017. Grown out of the 2009 Partnership Program with the San Pedro Chamber, the Arts&Cultural District has successfully leveraged the intial CRA grant into an active non-profit, engaged with the arts community. In it's short tenure focusing on public art, advocacy and education, the Arts&Culture District has had 17 DOT boxes and three murals professionally painted by area artists. In 2018, there are palns to paint 11 more DOT boxes on our Gaffey Great Street.
