Before his election to the Los Angeles City Council Eighth District from 1974 to 1991, Bob Farrell was a journalist and newspaper publisher. During his tenure in office, he helped focus city attention on many issues outside of its traditional boundaries. He continues to do so today after his city career. This free event includes time for audience Q&A with Mr. Farrell.
Please join us for this first program in the 26th Annual Marie Northrop Lecture Series, co-sponsored by the Los Angeles City Historical Society and the Central Library History Department.
