Nature Club for Families: Reptiles at White Point Nature Center with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy
On April Fool’s Day, don’t be fooled. Most of the Peninsula’s native snakes are not poisonous, including the beautiful California King Snake. Bring the kids to find out how the local King Snake actually helps keep the rattlesnake population down on all 1,600 acres of Peninsula Land. Design and build your own artistic snake to take home with you. You’ll leave Nature Club with a greater appreciation for all of our local reptiles. Free. Appropriate for parents and children. Stroller friendly. Leashed dogs welcome. White Point Nature Preserve, 1600 W. Paseo del Mar, San Pedro. More info at www.pvplc.org or contact cSmith@pvplc.org
