Bring your kids to the White Point Nature Preserve to meet the California Gnatcatcher, a bird that is endangered everywhere else, but is recovering in habitat restored by the Conservancy. Families will enjoy a bird walk to spot a red tailed hawk, a peregrine falcon, or even a burrowing owl and learn about how the Preserve provides them with wilderness in the big city.
