In the 1920s and 30s, fabric bags holding animal feed turned into a brilliant marketing campaign focused on the thrifty housewives of struggling farmers. Even in dire circumstances, these women still wanted something attractive to wear for themselves and their families. Join us as Julie Rogan, textile expert, shares her knowledge of this early example of upcycling through personal experience and wonderful feedsack pieces from the era!
