2022 Cars & Stripes
After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the popular patriotic event Port of Los Angeles Cars & Stripes Forever!® returns to the LA Waterfront in 2022!Free, family-friendly, and open to all ages, Cars & Stripes Forever! will take place on Friday, July 1, from 5-10 p.m. at Harbor Boulevard and Swinford Street — adjacent to the Fanfare Fountains on the LA Waterfront, just below the the Vincent Thomas Bridge. A free shuttle to and from Downtown San Pedro will be available, as well as low-cost parking at Harbor Blvd. and 1st Street.
More than 100 pre-1975 classic cars and motorcycles will be on display, surrounded by live bands performing on stage. A tempting assortment of food trucks will serve up local cuisine, along with an adjacent beer garden. Crowning the festivities will be a dazzling fireworks presentation that begins at 9:15 p.m.
