The San Pedro Chamber of Commerce's staff consists of four full time employees, one Independent Contractor, and part-time consultants on an as-needed basis. All staff members are under the direction of the President/CEO.
 Betsy Cheek | President/CEO
New President/CEO Betsy Cheek has been an Executive Director and Financial Development director for non-profit organizations in Los Angeles and Orange County for 16 years. She currently serves as Development Director for the San Pedro & Peninsula YMCA. In that capacity, she collaborates with individuals, corporations and foundations to raise funds for YMCA programs and services, primarily in the communities of San Pedro, Wilmington and the Palos Verdes Peninsula.  Laura Duarte | Associate, Sales and Membership Services; Office Manager
Laura Duarte performs several service-related roles at the San Pedro Chamber Of Commerce. Currently she is the Membership Services and Community Outreach Associate. As such, she is responsible for everything relating to membership. From managing the membership list, and ensuring appropriate and timely billing and collection of membership dues to building positive relationships with members to support them and help them to navigate the Chamber benefits, Laura does it all.

 Judith Blahnik | ACE, 1st Thursday and Boardroom Gallery, Special Projects
Judith Blahnik is an independent contractor. She manages the ACE District program, and for the chamber oversees 1st Thursday and the Chamber Boardroom Gallery.
She comes from an arts background, having written and directed in the theatre in Los Angeles and New York. Linda Alexander serves as liaison between the downtown business and property owners and the film industry. Downtown San Pedro has unique conditions required of filmmakers and Linda strives to provide clear communication among all parties. She created the "Hollywood in San Pedro" booklet as a handy reference, which is available at the Chamber offices.
