K9 Veterans Day
Join us to honor working dog teams
We’ll be hosting some incredible canines on Battleship IOWA’s fantail this March 14th as we celebrate K9 Veterans Day. Event schedule:
- Opens: 10:00 AM
- Ceremony and awards: 10:30-11:30 AM
- Closes: 2:00 PM

- K9 demonstrations
- Agency presentations
- Dog team awards
- Working dog parade
- Community photo ops
- K9 support foundations
- Food and beverages

Please park in the lot adjacent to Battleship IOWA. Parking is free for the first hour, then $2.00 for every subsequent hour.

Note: Cruise ship traffic may reduce the number of spots available. If the lot is full, alternative parking locations include:
- Maritime Museum lot (6th & Harbor, paid)
- 5th & Mesa St.
- Harbor Blvd, across from the ship
- Topaz Building (between 5th & 6th St, paid)
