Join the Los Angeles Maritime Institute (LAMI) to Explore the Coast/Explora la Costa - a Bilingual, STEM-focused Educational and Exploration Sail - on Sunday, February 23. Departing from Downtown San Pedro, you’ll learn something new and increase your coastal awareness too as we sail around the LA Waterfront on one of our tall ships!Families and children 10 or older are welcome to join us for the two-hour round-trip excursion with hands-on scientific activities, trained bilingual (Spanish) docents, and engaging materials. (All minors must be accompanied by an adult.)
Advanced registration is required; $10 donation per person.

Boarding from the West Harbor Promenade at W 6th St and Harbor Blvd, San Pedro, CA 90731. PLEASE NOTE: We recommend leaving extra time to park/get to the dock, and use the restroom before coming aboard, if needed. Parking is limited right now by our dock off the West Harbor Promenade, adjacent to the Maritime Museum.
