A one hundred acre Nature Preserve at the end of Western Avenue is in full bloom with purple lupine, orange California Poppies, and bright yellow bush sunflower. Several miles of meandering trails loop along the hills with sweeping views of the blue Pacific and Catalina Island. Join our knowledgeable docent for a guided hike where you’ll learn how this former nuclear missile site is slowly being restored with native plants and wildflowers in support of wildlife and for the peaceful enjoyment of humans.
