Each year, this festive tradition brings families, little leagues, scouts, students, high school bands, equestrian units, and volunteers to downtown San Pedro to celebrate the holiday season and our community. More than 9,000 individuals will line the streets to view the parade.
The parade takes place in downtown San Pedro and will kick-off at 13th and Pacific Avenue, and head north on Pacific, turn right on 6th Street and head east to Palos Verdes Street. It will include Community Grand Marshal and Honorary Mayor Pam Costa, CA State Senator Steve Bradford, Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn, and Los Angeles City Councilman Joe Buscaino.
Parade highlights include: “Timmy the Duck,” Providence Aztec Dancers, Folklorico Dancers, San Pedro High School Golden Pirate Regiment Band, Carson High School Marching Blue Thunder, Carson Cheer Stars and the South Bay Divas. Two equestrian units are participating: Charros de Zacatecas, and Charros de Compton. There are more than 85 parade marching down the parade route this year for your enjoyment.
The parade will be live-streamed on Facebook.com/SanPedroChamber, and the public can hear live parade commentary:
