DESCRIPTION:The San Pedro Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating Women's History Month honoring women who have made significant contributions to our community on Thursday\, March 13\, 2025 at the Dalmatian American Club from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Please note: Doors open at 5 pm and we have additional parking at CRAFTED located at 112 E. 22nd Street\, San Pedro. The Red Trolley will be running continuously from the Dalmatian American Club to CRAFTED for your convenience.\n\n\n\nWomen's History Month traces its beginnings back to 1911\, to the First International Women's Day. In 1980\, President Carter\, issued a proclamation creating an official Women's History Week and in 1987\, recognizing the outstanding contributions of women to our nation's history\, Congress established March as the official Women's History Month. Each year\, the President of the United States issues the official annual proclamation proclaiming March as National Women's History Month. The San Pedro Chamber looks forward each year to joining in the celebration.
