DESCRIPTION:This one-day program on Monday\, February 25 is part of 'Forum Day' during\n\nTall Ships America's National Conference\, Feb. 23-27\, 2019 in San Pedro\, CA. \n\n \n\nThe Summit is a coollaborative program connecting National Marine Educators Association's 'making known the world of water...' \n\nwith Tall Ships America's 'Adventure and Education Under Sail'.   We welcome all educators\, students and interested people to:\n\n	Come to understand Ocean Literacy and ways to apply it ashore\, at sea and in space\n	Explore practical and fun ways to teach and learn through sailing ships\, tall and small\n	Network with people\, resources and events connecting ocean science and stewardship to work and life \n\nRegistration for the One-day Summit is $100 (limited financial assistance available).  \n\nThe only way to register for the One-day Summit is by calling Tall Ships America: 401-846-1775 (EST).\n\n(One-day Summit ticket includes breakfast\, morning sessions\, lunch\, afternoon habitat walk\, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium tour\, \n\nexhibits\, resources\, events calendar and evening Tall Ships Conference Reception on the SS Lane Victory.)  \n\n \n\nFor current information and to register for the full Tall Ships America Conference\, February 23-27\, 2019\, \n\ngo online to www.tallshipsconference.com.  3-day registration for the conference includes the Summit\, if you choose.
