DESCRIPTION:Angels Gate Cultural Center's Family Art Workshops have long been a place of intergenerational community and art making. We believe that art is a powerful tool for social transformation.\n\n \n\nWe stand with our immigrant community.\n\nWe support peaceful protest.\n\nWe are committed to being a safe space.\n\n \n\nAGCC is extending our Family Art Workshop hours on Saturday\, June 21st to 1-4PM and inviting participants to use the planned medium of stencils and silkscreen to share messages of solidarity. All are welcome. Art activities for kids and adults\, ages 1 to 101!\n\n Es el Taller de Arte Familiar con el Centro Cultural Angels Gate!\n\nAngels Gate ofrece mensualmente talleres de arte gratuitos. Todos son bienvenidos. Actividades art sticas para ni os y adultos\,  de 1 a 101 a os!\n\n \n\nIn this family workshop participants will learn how to create a one of a kind handmade stencil design on paper. Once their design is completed the participants will use the cutting tools to carefully cut out their designs on a cutting mat. If assistance is needed the teaching artist and assistant will help participants through the design. The participants will take their cut out stencils to the printing station using the silk screen method they will print their stencils on poster paper. Participants will leave with unique colorful stencil posters.\n\n \n\nEn este taller familiar\, los participantes aprender n a crear una plantilla de papel  nica. Una vez finalizado el dise o\, los participantes utilizar n las herramientas de corte para recortar cuidadosamente sus dise os en una alfombrilla de corte. Si se necesita ayuda\, el artista y el asistente ayudar n a los participantes a realizar el dise o. Los participantes llevar n sus plantillas recortadas a la estaci n de impresi n utilizando el m todo de la serigraf a e imprimir n sus plantillas en papel de p ster. Los participantes se ir n con carteles  nicos y coloridos.\n\n \n\nThis workshop is fun for all ages!!\n\nEste taller es divertido para todas las edades.\n\nMeet your teacher in Building A's Gallery and we will walk over to our classroom in Building G.\n\nRe nete con tu profesor en la Galer a del Edificio A y nos dirigiremos a nuestra aula en el Edificio G.\n\nAll materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pets are not allowed inside our galleries or classrooms.\n\nSe proporcionan todos los materiales.
