DESCRIPTION:In March\, the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating Women's History Month honoring women who have made significant contributions to our community in business\, the arts\, healthcare\, education\, and public service. Honorees will be recognized at a reception: "Celebrating Women Celebrating Giving Back\," on Thursday\, March 10\, 2022\, at 5:30 pm. \n\n \n\n\nWhy in March and how did the tradition start? Each year\, the President of the United States issues the official annual proclamation proclaiming March as National Women's History Month. The San Pedro Chamber looks forward each year to joining in the celebration.\n\n\n\nWe have opened nominations\, and we invite you to nominate an individual who you believe has been a force for good in our community.\n\n\n\nMeet the Honorees!\n\n \nLinda Alexander\n\nBusiness and arts advocacy.
