SUMMARY:October's Family Art Workshop: Day of the Dead Traditions!
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a very special Day of the Dead Traditions workshop with Artist-Teacher Marissa Sykes!\n\n\n\nAttendees will learn about this cultural tradition and how to set up their own family altar at home or contribute to the Angels Gate Cultural Center Community Altar! Participants will create tissue paper flowers to take for their family?s Day of the Dead Altar or add to the community altar.\n\n\n\nAttendees are optionally invited to contribute to the AGCC Community Altar by bringing a photograph or memento in honor of a departed loved one. These special tokens will be placed on the Day Of The Dead Altar on view in our main gallery through November 18th.\n\n\n\nAll materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pets are not allowed inside our galleries or classrooms.\n\n\n\nMeet your teacher in Building A?s Gallery and we will walk over to the Rorke Classroom in G together.\n\n\n\nA ll materials are provided.
