DESCRIPTION:Please join the Port of Los Angeles to celebrate the completion of the Harbor Boulevard Roadway Improvement Project on Thursday\, June 7th at 11:45am.  We will be meeting in Plaza Park at the intersection of Beacon and 8th Streets.  This $15.6 million Harbor Boulevard Roadway/Plaza Park Improvements Project is yet another milestone in the transformation of the LA Waterfront which improves traffic flow and safety for both vehicles and pedestrians.  The north side of Plaza Park which overlooks the LA Waterfront has been refurbished with a new public seating area\, landscaping and lighting.
