This yearly event draws an approximate five thousand participants.  It is recognized as the largest Memorial Day service in California and one of the best attended in the nation\, receiving wide media coverage.  It is resplendent with the sights and sounds of patriotism: Color Guards\, Marching Bands\, Sky divers\, Fly-overs\, dignitaries and over eight thousand American Flags
