If you'd like to see sea life in its natural habitat without getting wet, the tide pools at Royal Palms offer glimpses of sea anemones and other unusual life forms that live in the wet nooks and crannies of the rocky shoreline after the tide has gone out. Sturdy footwear is recommended. 1799 Paseo del Mar at the south end of Western Avenue.
