Science at the Seashore: Eggs Along the Shore at CMA

Preschool children are invited to Cabrillo Marine Aquarium's "Science at the Seashore: Eggs Along the Shore" workshop, taking place on Sunday, April 1 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Children can attend this class by themselves or bring their favorite adult to join in on the fun. The fee is $10 ($9 Friends members) and reservations are recommended.
Activities include learning about the wide variety of eggs along the shore and the animals that hatch them. The workshop includes: a snack, stories, and an arts and crafts project to make and take home.
While you're here visit the aquarium exhibit hall, exploration center, aquatic nursery, Virginia Reid Moore Marine Research Library and touch tank to observe local marine life. Plan to stop by CMA's volunteer-run gift shop for a wide selection of gifts and books. The aquarium is open weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 12 noon to 5 p.m. It is located at 3720 Stephen M. White Drive in San Pedro and is a facility of the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks with support from FRIENDS of Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.
